2014 OFFICIAL NOMINATION ENTRY FORM

Welcome to IPI's 8th Annual Professional Recognition Program Awards Official Nomination Entry Form. This program is designed to recognize and commend the contributions of parking and transportation individuals - our industry's best. You have the opportunity to ensure deserving colleagues and organizations are recognized by nominating them for an IPI Professional Recognition Porgram Award today. You can also nominate yourself. There is no entry fee required.

Selection criteria includes a combination of the following:

  • IPI member in good standing
  • Professional reputation
  • Contribution to the parking industry
  • Creative solutions or innovations
  • Standards of customer service
  • Reliability
  • Breadth of program and service

Please see the Entry Details below for the criteria required in order to nominate. Please complete all areas of this form before clicking the "Submit" button below. Entries are being accepted via this online form ONLY; no emailed or mailed entries will be accepted. The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 28, 2014.

CHOOSE A CATEGORY

This nomination is submitted for consideration in the following category (please choose one that is the most appropriate for your entry):

Parking Staff Member of the Year - for front-line staff.
Parking Supervisor of the Year - for those who supervise one or more employees within a parking/transportation department or unit.
Parking Organization of the Year - for public or private parking organizations, departments, consultants, suppliers, commercial operators, etc.
James M. Hunnicutt, CAPP, Parking Professional of the Year - for those management-level professionals who direct an entire parking/transportation operation, or manage multiple units within a department.

NOTE: Nominations are reviewed by IPI's Professional Recognition Committee and must be submitted no later than Friday, February 28, 2014. No fee is required.

ENTRY DETAILS

A complete entry for each nomination category consists of the following information and supporting documentation. Incomplete entries cannot be considered and will be returned.

Parking Staff Member of the Year nominations must include:

NOTE: Please save the files as the nominees last name, then an underscore, then what the PDF document is (ie. Johnson_Statement.pdf, Johnson_Supervisor Ltr.pdf, Johnson_Photo.jpg, etc.) Files being uploaded should not exceed six (6) total files and should not exceed the page number limit as listed for each below.

In PDF format; not to exceed two (2) pages:

  • A two-page statement discussing the individual and why they are noteworthy to receive recognition (limit 1,000 words). Include description of individuals' customer service/above-and-beyond the individuals' job description.

In PDF format; each not to exceed one (1) page:

  • A one-page letter of recommendation from the appropriate supervisor.
  • A one-page letter of recommendation from a customer.
  • A one-page letter of recommendation from a peer.

In PDF format; not to exceed three (3) pages:

  • Additional supporting documentation, if desired.

In JPG or Vector format; not to exceed one page.

  • Head and shoulders professional photo - minimum 300 dpi high resolution color photograph.

Parking Supervisor of the Year nominations must include:

  • Additional supporting documentation, if desired.

In JPG or Vector format; not to exceed one page.

  • Head and shoulders professional photo - minimum 300 dpi high resolution color photograph.

Parking Organization of the Year nominations must include:

NOTE: Please save the files as the nominees last name, then an underscore, then what the PDF document is (ie. Perth_Statement.pdf, Perth_Supervisor Ltr.pdf, Perth_Logo.jpg, etc.) Files being uploaded should not exceed six (6) total files and should not exceed the page number limit as listed for each below.

In PDF format; not to exceed two (2) pages:

  • A two-page statement discussing the organization and why it is noteworthy to receive recognition (limit 1,000 words). Include a list of programs/services/customer service.
  • Resume, job description of the nominee, or outline of duties.
  • An organizational chart, an operating statement, plus facts and figures that describe the volume, size, efficiency, service, etc. of the organization.

In PDF format; not to exceed three (3) pages:

  • A description highlighting a specific cutting-edge program or service, or improvement to an existing program or service that the organization has implemented within the last two years. Discuss the outcome of this new program or service and how it impacted the organization and/or its customers. Also include any marketing materials that may have been used in conjunction with this effort.
  • Documentation, brochures, annual reports, or other materials describing programs and services offered.

In PDF format; each not to exceed one (1) page:

  • A one-page letter of recommendation from the appropriate supervisor.
  • A one-page letter of recommendation from another organization.
  • A one-page letter of recommendation from a user.
  • Customer satisfaction survey data, if appropriate.

In JPG or Vector format; not to exceed one page.

  • Organization logo - minimum 300 dpi high resolution color graphic.

WINNERS RECEIVE...

Following is a list of benefits that winners of each category of the Professional Recognition Program Awards will receive:

A plaque which will be awarded during an awards ceremony at the annual IPI Conference & Expo.

All winners will be featured on promotional displays in the IPI Awards Recognition area at the annual IPI Conference & Expo.

A press release will be distributed announcing the Professional Recognition Program Award winners to appropriate business journals, newspapers, radio stations, and other media through a national publicity campaign.

All winners will be highlighted on IPI's website and in a future issue of The Parking Professional magazine.
